Simka hires Hollywood attorney Leighton Lloyd from Gibson Hoffman to shake down "Adventures of Bunny Bravo" vendor for domains they don't own from elusive hotmail address; Lloyd suggests that payment relates to domain names wanted by Clark instead of the 5-month aged Bunny Bravo invoice [Op-Ed]

This is an update to the alert regarding last week's breaking story about Simka paying a vendor. According to site contributors with first-hand knowledge of with the "settlement", Mychal Simka couldn't pay the bills by himself by writing a check.
Instead, the vendor was told that in order to get ANY money that was owed, that the hired firm must email ONLY an entertainment attorney, Leighton Lloyd (ONLY at his Hotmail email address), to handle the "settlement".
The emails, which originate from a questionable Hotmail email address with no legal verbiage or contact information in the footer, states that Leighton Lloyd and Mychal Simka were "at the bank" but would not pay for Bunny Bravo services unless they could also, in turn, have the opportunity to purchase domain names in the Simka Alert Network which the vendor was not in ownership of.
"Lawyer" with 2 LinkedIn profiles only communicates using his Hotmail address on Simka's behalf, tells vendor they are finally "at the bank", 6 months later. What exactly was the purpose of Simka's hiring Lloyd to "deal with the vendor" instead of dropping a check in the mailbox? Why is Lloyd acting like the vendor is extorting or blackmailing Simka? The filmmaker owes money from a bill he agreed upon well over 5 months ago, which was to be paid as soon as the $500k (minus MicroVenture's $50k cut) was released from escrow.
After this breaking recent development, many readers wrote in about with the same basic question: If Simka was so adamant about not paying his vendors unless mandated by a judge, then WHY DID HE PAY ONLY DAYS AFTER THIS WEB SITE LAUNCHED?
In any event, our website and its contributors certainly have no intention of handing over any property or domain names to Leighton Lloyd on behalf of Mychal Simka, and refuse to be shaken down via Email and Skype! The domain names are NOT for sale, nor does the victimized vendor (the one who had to "settle") own them!
Contributors also ask if there is a chance that these emails were actually from the real Leighton Lloyd who works at Gipson Hoffman & Pancione, or perhaps an imposter or Simka himself? Why didn't he use the email address listed on his web site?

I guess the old idiom “fake it til you make it” has crossed over into crowdfunding, where @MychalSimka told Bunny Bravo investors that he was the brain behind “Birds of Paradise”. Wrong, #deceptive and downright sick. It was a @Lionsgate / @GrindstoneEnt film NOT @SimkaEnt pic.twitter.com/vTS6wQHtnX— JOBS Act Title III Predatory Financing (@RegCF) December 13, 2017
